Our Work

Just a few examples of our previous work:

Liverpool Vision – Merseyside Business Support Programme

We have been contracted to provide tendering and procurement support to Liverpool based SMEs. Collaboration has been a key aspect of this work. We took the opportunity to introduce the SMEs we were working with to relevant procurement professionals. In late 2013 we held two discussion events focussed on Repairs & Maintenance and Health & Social Care, bringing together local organisations, and relevant procurement and commissioning representatives from Local Authority, Health and Housing sectors. These events raised the profile of the SMEs with local buyers but outcomes also included collaborative working between the SMEs involved and sharing ideas between public bodies.

Our final event was a “Meet the Suppliers” event at the end of March, attended by over 60 people. This event was made possible with additional support from one of our partners – the Confederation of Social Entrepreneurs (CoSE) – we have worked collaboratively with CoSE for many years and continue to build on the legacy of the EU funded programme delivered by South Sefton Development Trust(SSDT) , Plus Dane and Riverside Housing.

Liverpool Care Home Partnership CIC

In early 2013 we were asked to support the Liverpool Care Home Partnership. We worked with the Care Homes to plan for their future. We brought in additional support from SSDT to help them access funding and register as a community interest company. We continue to support the partnership by linking them into relevant support programmes and introducing them to other local business organisations.

Care Community Culture

Working with Chinese Wellbeing, Mary Seacole House and Irish Community Care Merseyside to bring together a collaborative service offer.

Natural Health Service

Commissioned by Merseyforest, in partnership with CoSE, we worked with over 17 Public and VCSE sector organisations to develop a collaborative offer for commissioners through the NW Investment Forum. Services included Walking for Health, Green Gyms, Forest, Cycling Activities, Volunteer programmes, Green Infrastructure Planning, Street Greening, Community allotments
